Alliance of Ambassadors for Education in Africa

ALEXANDRIA, Virginia. Global Caravan announced Wednesday that it has begun organization of The Ambassadors Alliance for Education in Africa, a cooperative of diplomats to support the construction of lending libraries in African countries.

The Alliance is created to engage African ambassadors abroad and ambassadors of other countries in the Global Caravan effort. Members of the Alliance will help build a broad fundraising and advisory network.

Eby Aka, Founder and Senior Strategist of Global Caravan, said, “We believe that together, the contribution of these diplomats can help us build a stronger and more effective organization and achieve our goals to support education in Africa.” Nominations for President and Vice President of the Alliance will be announced next week.

Global Caravan plans to organize a number of diplomat partnerships to advance its vision: changing African education by constructing modern standard libraries and learning centers, and supplying children with the books and supplies they need to succeed.
