John Harrison, a native of Westchester, New York, is currently a member of the class of 2016 at Georgetown University. Having a charitable mind-set since an early age, John organized the donation of over a thousand pairs of shoes to numerous children in Tanzania during his tenure at Bronxville HIgh School. He spent his freshman year at Georgetown rowing for their Division 1 lightweight crew team, refining valuable skills, such as discipline and work ethic, in the process. Majoring in English and French, John spends much of his time outside of Global Caravan studying, running, or working on his radio show. He has been a part of the Global Caravan team since early 2014 and presently holds the position of U.S. University Coordinator.

About Author: Global Caravan

Global Caravan seeks to give hope and opportunity to underprivileged children in Africa by building and filling libraries in their home villages and by providing First Aid kits for their schools. We believe that access to books and education is the first step toward equipping these children to rise above their circumstances and develop their God-given talents and abilities.
